How Much Does a Website Cost in Cameroon? 2026 Prices

A landing page starts at 80,000 FCFA and a full business website at 100,000 FCFA. What each includes, what changes the quote, and what to ask before you pay.
Mersil Designs website home page

A website can cost almost nothing or several million francs in Cameroon, and the difference is rarely explained. Here are my own prices for a website, what they include, and the questions to ask any web designer before you pay.

The short answer

At Mersil Designs, a landing page starts at 80,000 FCFA and a full business website starts at 100,000 FCFA. These are starting prices: after a short questionnaire, I send you an exact quote for your project.

OfferFromWhat it isBest for
Landing page80,000 FCFAOne page that presents an offer, an event or a service and leads visitors to contact youA launch, a campaign, an event, a single service
Business website100,000 FCFAA complete site with several pages, for example home, about, services, portfolio and contactBusinesses, institutions, NGOs and associations that want a professional presence online

Online stores, membership areas and online payment are quoted for each project, because they depend on your products and how you get paid.

What changes the price

  • The number of pages and how much content each one carries.
  • Languages: a real bilingual site means every page exists in French and in English.
  • Features: contact forms and questionnaires, a WhatsApp button, an online store, payments or a member area.
  • Content: whether your texts and photos are ready, or need to be written and prepared.

What to ask before you pay

  • Will I be able to update my texts and images myself?
  • Who owns the domain name, and in whose name is it registered?
  • Are the domain name and hosting included, and for how long?
  • Does the site load well on a phone and a mobile connection?
  • What happens if something breaks after the launch?

A website in Cameroon also has its own requirements: it must work on a phone and a slow connection, speak French and English when your clients do, and make it easy to reach you. I wrote about this in What a Bilingual Website Actually Needs in Cameroon.

How a project runs

  1. Questionnaire: to understand your business and your visitors.
  2. Structure and design: I propose the pages and the look of the site.
  3. Review: we go through each page together.
  4. Launch: the site goes live, with updates when you need them.

Examples

See the bilingual websites I built for Africa Strategia, a research association with membership and donations in euros or CFA francs, Shanghai Ssípín, a sourcing firm in China, and the think tank CAPS, as well as the online store of Dame des Fleurs.

Questions about website prices

Which platform do you use?

WordPress, with Elementor for the page design. It is reliable, widely supported and lets you update your own content.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. The sites I build are designed so you can change your texts and images from the WordPress dashboard.

Can you build a bilingual website?

Yes, with a real translation of each page, not an automatic one, as I did for CAPS, Africa Strategia and this website.

Do you offer maintenance?

Yes. I offer updates and maintenance so your website stays secure and up to date.

How do I get an exact quote?

Fill in the website questionnaire. I come back to you with the structure I recommend and a quote, before any work begins.
