“How much does a logo cost?” is the first question most business owners ask me, and they are right to ask it. Prices in Cameroon range from a few thousand francs on social media to several hundred thousand in agencies, and it is hard to know what you actually get for the money. Here are my own prices, and what is behind them.
The short answer
At Mersil Designs, there are three levels: a logo alone starts at 50,000 FCFA, a basic visual identity at 150,000 FCFA and a complete brand identity at 250,000 FCFA. These are starting prices: after a short questionnaire, I send you an exact quote for your project before anything begins.
| Offer | From | What you receive | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logo alone | 50,000 FCFA | Your logo in its different versions and colours, with final files ready for print, social media and the web | Launching a business, testing an idea, a tight budget |
| Basic visual identity | 150,000 FCFA | Your logo and its variations, with the colour palette and fonts that go with it | New businesses that want a consistent image from the start |
| Complete brand identity | 250,000 FCFA | The basic identity, plus brand guidelines and the everyday material your brand needs, such as business cards, social media templates or print, defined with you | Established businesses, rebrands, and brands that publish, print or sell regularly |
Not sure which one you need? I explain the difference in Logo vs Brand Identity: The Difference and What Your Business Needs.
What changes the price
- The scope: a logo alone, a basic visual identity, or a complete brand identity with guidelines and material.
- The material to design: business cards, flyers, roll-ups, signage, packaging or social media templates are added to the quote when you need them.
- The logo itself: a typographic logo and an illustrated symbol do not take the same time.
- The languages: versions in French, English or both, and sometimes in another script, as for Shanghai Ssípín, whose logo also exists in Chinese characters.
Why a very cheap logo often costs more
A logo made in a few minutes from a template can look fine on a phone screen. The trouble starts later: no files your printer can use, a design that blurs on a banner, colours that change from one support to the next, or a symbol that other businesses already use. Redoing it a year later costs more than doing it properly once.
What you are paying for is not the drawing alone. It is the thinking about your audience and your competitors, a mark that works small and large, in colour and in one colour, and files prepared for every use.
How a project runs
- Share your project: a short questionnaire about your business, your audience and your goals.
- Strategy and direction: I study your market and propose a clear creative direction before designing anything.
- Design and feedback: you review the work and we refine it together.
- Delivery: your final files, ready for print, social media and the web.

Questions about logo prices
Why do you give “from” prices?
Because no two projects are the same. The starting price covers a simple project; the final quote depends on the scope you need, and you receive it before any work begins.
Can I start with a logo and add a full identity later?
Yes. Many businesses start with the logo and add the palette, fonts, guidelines and print material once they grow. I design the logo so it can become an identity later without being redrawn.
Do you work with businesses outside Yaoundé?
Yes. I am based in Biyem-Assi, Yaoundé, and most projects run remotely by messages, email and video calls, with clients in Douala, elsewhere in Cameroon, Gabon, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
How do I get an exact quote?
Fill in the branding questionnaire. It takes a few minutes, and I come back to you with a proposal for your project.
