Humanis Assurances Social Media

About the client

Humanis Assurances is an insurance and reinsurance brokerage in Akwa, Douala. Insurance is a hard product to post about: people rarely think about it until something goes wrong. Since March 2026 I have been the company’s social media coordinator, designing and publishing its posts.

What I designed

• Educational posts that start from a real situation, such as “Ouvrier blessé sur votre chantier : qui est responsable selon la loi camerounaise ?”
• Product posts for Humanis Habitation home insurance (from 45,000 FCFA a year) and Individuelle Accident cover (from 5,000 FCFA a year)
• Prevention tips, such as four illustrated ways to protect your home from electrical fires
• Posts for national days and occasions: National Unity Day, Labour Day, April Fools’ Day
• Health and family-protection messages

The design choices

Every post is built on one template: a large photo of a Cameroonian scene, a headline in a blue or green box, and the brand’s curved blue-and-green band at the bottom with the address on Rue Joffre, the phone numbers, the email, the website and the logo with its slogan. The template makes the page instantly recognisable and lets each post focus on its message.

The headlines are written as questions or everyday situations: a market seller who falls and cannot work, a worker injured on a building site, a house at risk from an overloaded socket. Insurance then appears as the answer to a problem the reader recognises, rather than as a list of guarantees. Prices and guarantees are given in short checklists, so a reader knows exactly what a product covers and what it costs.

Where it works

The posts run on the company’s social media pages. They reuse the brand identity and the visual style of the brochure I designed, so every point of contact looks like the same company.
