Bóris Le Tayrøs

Bóris Le Tayrøs is a Cameroonian artist signed to E II Entertainment.

I designed his pressbook — the document that goes to promoters, radio and press. It had to carry the artist’s attitude before a word is read, so the cover runs on hard red light and a collage ground, and the pages inside settle down into a clean biography, discography and contact layout.

About the client

Bóris Le Tayrøs is a singer and songwriter signed to E II Entertainment (E Two Entertainment). A pressbook is the document a label sends when it pitches an artist to promoters, radio stations, festivals and journalists, so it has to work fast for people who receive many of them.

What I designed

  • A five-page landscape pressbook
  • The cover, with the artist’s bull “B” monogram and the label logo
  • A biography page
  • A discography timeline, from “Crois en toi” (2019) to “Porteur Capricieux” (2022), with a link to each official video
  • A final page with his social accounts and the label’s booking contacts

The design choices

The cover is loud on purpose: saturated red light, a collage texture and the artist in dark glasses and leather, so the personality lands before a word is read. Inside, the pages change register. They sit on a pale, crumpled-paper texture with a ghosted portrait in the background, the text is set in clear blocks, and each release on the timeline gets its cover, its credits and a “Vidéo officielle” button.

The landscape format is chosen for screens: the pressbook is mostly read as a PDF on a laptop or phone, and a horizontal page shows a photo and its text side by side without scrolling.

Where it works

The label can send it by email or WhatsApp to a promoter, print it for a meeting, or attach it to a festival application. I later designed the artwork of Porteur Capricieux, the release featured on its last discography page.
