Social Network Workshop

Influence au Mboa ran the Social Network Workshop in Yaoundé in April 2025 on the theme “De l’influence à la conversion” — how to turn influence into actual sales.

I designed the campaign: a main poster carrying the four speakers and the practical detail a buyer needs — date, venue, price, payment — plus an individual square visual for each speaker so they could announce their own session without breaking the look of the set.

About the client

Influence au Mboa is the non-profit behind the Cameroon Cultural & Digital Youth Summit. Its Social Network Workshop took place on 12 April 2025, from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, at the Enovation Factory campus on the Nouvelle Route Bastos in Yaoundé. The question on the table: how to turn influence into actual sales. Seats were limited and paid (10,000 FCFA by Orange Money or MTN MoMo), so the campaign had to sell tickets, not just raise awareness.

What I designed

  • The main poster with all four speakers and the host
  • An individual visual for each speaker: Béatrice Doudou, Chedjou Kamdem, Ferdirich Njoussi and Taylor Bayang
  • A visual for the host, Igor Nego Djimo
  • The partner strip shared by every piece

The design choices

The look is a podcast studio: a dark charcoal grid, a studio microphone in the corner and bright yellow highlights. It fits a workshop about content and influencers, and it makes the speakers’ portraits stand out.

The practical details are grouped in one element shaped like a ticket: date and time, venue, price, payment method and the “places limitées” label. A reader who is interested finds everything they need to buy a seat in one place, and the ticket shape itself says “book now”. On the individual visuals the speaker takes half the frame, with their name and title in a yellow card, while the theme, the ticket and the footer stay exactly where they are on the main poster.

Where it works

Each speaker could post their own visual to their audience without breaking the look of the set, multiplying the campaign’s reach well beyond the organiser’s page. The footer gives the organiser’s email, phone numbers, website and social handles so buyers know where to find the payment link.
