WandaRelax
WandaRelax is a wellness and relaxation brand.
I designed its logo around Aprukuma, an Adinkra symbol and medicinal seed associated with healing, hope and well-being in West African tradition. A deep green and mint palette does the calming work, and the system includes stacked, circular and horizontal lockups so the mark holds up on sportswear, an app icon or a sign.
About the client
WandaRelax is a wellness brand built around relaxation, movement and inner balance, pictured in its deck through meditation and sport. It needed a mark that felt calm and natural, that could live on sportswear and on a phone screen, and that carried a meaning its audience could connect with.
What I designed
- The logo, presented in a brand deck dated January 2026
- Horizontal, stacked and circular versions, on green and on white
- The logo concept, the colour palette and the typeface (Glory Sunshine)
- Applications: sportswear and a 3D app icon
The design choices
Rather than the lotus flowers and silhouettes that most wellness brands use, the mark is built on Aprukuma, an Adinkra symbol from West Africa and a medicinal seed associated with healing, hope and well-being. It is understood as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual, harmony between mind, body and soul, which is the promise of the brand. Drawn as a rounded seed opening from the centre, it is simple enough to work at a very small size.
Two greens carry the palette: a deep green for depth and stability and a soft mint for freshness and calm. The wordmark is set in Glory Sunshine, a soft, generous serif that keeps the brand warm and personal rather than clinical. The circular version wraps the name around the symbol like a stamp, ready for packaging or a label.
Where it works
The mockups show the mark printed small on a sports bra and as a mint app icon with a notification badge: the two places where a wellness brand meets its clients every day.
